Dick Whittington SP4

The Dick Whittington SP4 set delivers big pantomime impact without requiring a flying system, making it ideal for venues that want colour, scale, and energy within a grounded staging approach. Spanning fourteen scenes across two acts, the set creates a vibrant visual world full of character and momentum, perfectly suited to a fast‑moving pantomime production.

A beautifully painted selection of cloths and gauzes adds depth and atmosphere throughout. These include the Show Gauze, Highgate Hill Gauze, Sewer Cloth, and the heraldic Coat of Arms Cloth featuring a Lion and Unicorn. Each backdrop is crafted to enhance key moments and allow scenes to transition smoothly without the need for flown pieces.

The practical scenic elements give this set real theatrical presence. A fully built galleon designed to glide offstage, an impressive central bell feature, and an ornate Sultan’s Throne complete with podium and canopy provide strong focal points for major scenes. A Starcloth can also be supplied on request to add extra sparkle where needed.

Across both acts, the scenes are designed to flow easily and create maximum visual impact. From the bustle of Cheapside and the Docks to Fitzwarren’s Store, the sweeping rise of Highgate Hill, the colourful Under the Sea sequence, and the grandeur of the Sultan’s Palace, each setting is crafted with atmosphere and storytelling in mind.
