Aladdin SP2 from Scenic Pantomimes is a bright, flexible and brilliantly efficient pantomime set designed for theatres that want maximum visual impact without needing a large backstage area. Measuring 40ft wide x 18ft high, it’s the ideal solution for small to medium venues that still want a bold, high‑quality production. With its vibrant Far Eastern styling — suitable for either an Oriental‑inspired or more Arabian‑flavoured approach — SP2 delivers a fully themed world with strong colours, fast scene changes and a polished professional finish.

This versatile package includes beautifully painted cloths, practical scenic pieces and a pair of impressive 4.5m periactoi, allowing smooth transitions and multiple scene configurations without bulky storage demands. Every scenic element has been designed for quick resets, easy installation and strong visual storytelling, making it a superb choice for touring companies and busy venues alike.

The set includes three themed portals, two large periactoi featuring Market, Laundry, Palace Gardens, Cave and Finale scenes, plus decorative columns, pagodas and lion pedestals that give the stage a distinctive and atmospheric look. A full suite of colourful backcloths is supplied — from the Market Street and Street of a Thousand Lanterns cloths to the Cave Cut and Harem of Abanazer cloths — along with a Willow Tree finale cloth, starcloth/sunset gauze and two sets of theatre blacks. Purpose‑built scenic pieces complete the design, including Widow Twankey’s Laundry (with mangle and washing machine), Palace flats with steps and railings, Cave treads with treasure wings and a selection of finale décor, banners and pedestals. A treasure chest truck and townscape ground row add further depth and practicality.

While a flying carpet is not supplied as standard, upgrade options are available to bring even more magic to your production, and the entire set is designed to fit a flexible 11m (36′) proscenium.
